Waliyah said she hates to tell people she is an Abiola, so people won’t think she's trying to use her father's name to step up her career. She said she has been doing her music without the name, and she is comfortable with it. She also said, her father loved music and would have supported her if he was still alive. Women In Revealing Clothes Deserve To Be Raped - Says A Poll In Brazil

According to a report by AFP, a poll in Brazil says a woman who shows off her body deserves to be raped. Brazil is known as the land of samba, voluptuous carnival dancers and mini bikinis. Of the 3,810 respondents of both sexes who responded to the government’s Institute of Applied Economic Research (IPEA) survey released last week, about 2,480 - 65% - justified raping women who wear “clothing that shows off the body.” And 58.5% of respondents also agreed that “if women knew how to behave, there would be fewer rapes.”

This poll has triggered outrage in the country, especially when it was revealed that most of the poll’s respondents - 66.5% - were women.

NYPD Shuts Down Davido's NY Concert Because It Was Over-Packed

The New York Police Department last night March 28th shut down Davido's concert which held at Pulse 48 in Brooklyn because the concert was overbooked, leading to safety concerns. People going to the concert caused shut down of two blocks in Brooklyn, forcing the police to intervene. The show yesterday was supposed to be Davido's first show as he kicks off US/Canada Tour 2014. He has a show in D.C today and Minnesota tomorrow. Then Dallas, Texas on Friday the 4th of April, then makes a final stop in Toronto, Canada on the 5th of April.

Singer Zara Gretti Dies After Battle With Multiple Sclerosis

28 years old singer Margaret Mary Oluwatoyin Ejiro Joseph popularly known as Zara Gretti has died. She died yesterday morning in Nigeria after a battle with Multiple Sclerosis. (MS is an autoimmune disease that affects the brain and spinal cord). Her last tweet on Thursday night was "I love and hate my life". She died a few hours later, yesterday morning. May her beautiful soul rest in perfect peace. Really sad!

One of the high points of the party was when Sean Tizzle and Kamar’s creativity and talent was brought to the fore as they performed rock versions of their hit singles.
