The former House of Representatives said as a well known politician the said publication has subjected her to public opprobrium, ridicule and embarrassment of monumental proportion. Before now, Mrs Erewa had mandated her lawyer to forward a letter to the bank for a retraction but after refusing to comply with her demands, she had no choice than to sue them.
