2015 Edition Of Big Brother Africa Reportedly Cancelled
Africa's first and biggest reality TV show, Big Brother Africa (BBA), has been reportedly cancelled and may not hold this year as envisaged.
The BBA no-show has been attributed to lack of sponsorship as organizers - Africa Magic and Endemol - have been unable to get sponsors for the 2015 edition of the hugely controversial reality TV show.

Majek Fashek Admitted to Abuja Rehab
Nigerian-born reggae singer and guitarist, Majekodunmi Fasheke, popularly known as Majek Fashek, is currently on admission at a rehabilitation center in Abuja following suspected case of drug abuse.
Caregivers at the rehab centre, who preferred anonymity, said Majek was placed at the intensive care unit of the centre and is responding to treatment. Following the music legend’s sudden disappearance, a group of people had volunteered to form a search party to establish his whereabouts for proper medical attention. Majek, who was previously seen roaming the streets of Lagos aimlessly, lived in the United States some years ago before being deported to Nigeria.

National Leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is being accused by a senator of being behind Toyin Saraki's EFCC ordeal.
According to a report by Punch, Senator Joseph Waku, a former Vice-Chairman and member, Board of Trustees of the Arewa Consultative Forum, says the National Leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, allegedly masterminded the EFCC petition against the wife of the Senate President, who has since to be invited by the anti-graft commission for questioning.
Waku, a leader of the APC, in a statement sent to journalists in Abuja on Saturday, described a situation where Tinubu would be allegedly using his personal relationship with the EFCC Chairman “to embarrass and torment fellow party members” as unfortunate.

EFCC Invites Saraki's Wife And Yaradua's Daughter Over Allegations Of Fraud
According to a breaking news report by Premium Times, wife of Senate President, Bukola Saraki, Toyin Saraki and one of the daughters of former President Umaru YarÁdua, Zainab Dakingari have been invited by the EFFC over alleged fraud and money laundering.
Mrs Toyin Saraki is being invited by the antigraft agency to answer questions regarding some alleged questionable flow of income into some companies which she has interest in. PT reports that Mrs Saraki is due to appear at EFFC's headquarters on July 28.

EFCC Set To Probe Financial Transactions Of GEJ's Former Ministers & Aides
According to Punch, EFCC has concluded plans to commence the probe of former ministers, special advisers, heads of parastatals and aides of former President Jonathan.
EFCC Chairman, Ibrahim Lamorde has already directed that all petitions against them should be forwarded to him to be acted upon as the anti-graft agency is determined to expose any corrupt act during the last administration. So in a few weeks time, some of these former public holders at the federal level will be invited for questioning, especially those whose establishments got huge allocations from the FG like defence, petroleum resources and power.

According to TMZ, Lil Wayne was kicked out of his chattered private jet because he and his entourage lit up their joints minutes after the pilot took off.
Reportedly, he had asked the pilot to permit them to smoke during the flight and pilot disagreed, but Lil Wayne disobeyed that flight rule, prompting the pilot to turn back the plane and return to the tarmac the had just taken off from.

3-Year Old Boy Dies After Falling Inside Abandoned Well
According to Vanguard, the incident occurred at 3pm near Ayinla Avenue, off Gasline, when the infant in company of his four years old sibling and two other children went to a neighbouring house where the incident took place.

Mr Ayodele Fayose has urged former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo to stop attacking the immediate past President, Dr Goodluck Jonathan, saying; “Dr Goodluck Jonathan is no longer the president of Nigeria, he should be allowed to live a private life devoid of mudslinging from elder statesmen like Chief Obasanjo.”
