The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has disclosed that 20 Nigerian pilgrims in Saudi Arabia have died so far since the beginning of this year’s Hajj.
The chairman of the commission, Abdullahi Mukhtar, disclosed this at a pre-Arafat meeting at Jeddah, Saudi Arabia which held today. He told journalists that, 14 pilgrims died due to cardiac arrest and other ailments, while six lost their lives at the September 11 crane accident that happened in a mosque.
