Wazobia FM’s OPJ Arrested For Allegedly Urinating In Drainage

Pius-Junior Opute, 54, often referred to as OPJ, a presenter at Wazobia FM.was allegedly caught urinating in a drainage at Marwa Bus Stop, Lekki, Lagos and resisted arrest.

He appeared before a Tinubu Magistrates’ Court in Lagos, yesterday Tuesday 20th May 2014 according to NAN "News Agency of Nigeria". Prosecutors alleged he committed the offence on May 12th by 8 PM, refused to be arrested and obstructed a free flow of traffic around the Lekki Toll Plaza. He is facing a two-count charge of urinating in a drainage and resisting arrest. The offence contravened Sections 117 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011 and Chapter E5, (9e) of the Environmental Sanitation Law of Lagos State, 2011

He plead not guilty and was granted a bail of N20,000. The case has been adjourned to June 18 for further hearing
