Blessing Okagbare Wins Gold In 100m Race At The CAA Marrakech 2014

Blessing Okagbare is continuing her hot winning streak as she wins the women’s 100m event at the ongoing 2014 African Athletics Championship in Marrakech, Morocco.

She’s already a multiple gold medal winner from the just completed commonwealth games where she won gold in 100m finals and 200m also. She also won a silver medal. Okagbare emerged winner of the contest,racing to a gold medal in a time of 11.00seconds beating Ivorian sprinter Murielle Ahoure. Gloria Asumnu and Lawretta Ozoh, the 2 other Nigerians in the race finished in fourth and sixth positions respectively.

It has been a good month for Okagbare, who followed up her success at the 2014 Commonwealth Games with another stellar showing in Morocco.
