Teen Shot Gamer Dead Over PS4

A man named Danny Zeitz, who advertised his PS4 for sale on Craigslist was shot dead. According to Police, he met the potential buyers in a parking lot and when they tried to steal the device, one of them, a 16-year-old girl, opened fire.

Police say the 28-year-old from Roswell, Ga., advertised his PS4 on Craigslist. He went to a parking lot to meet the potential buyers. It was 9:30 p.m. last Friday night. As The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports, the potential buyers, seated in a car, allegedly tried to grab the gaming machine from him. A struggle ensued. During it, a gun was allegedly fired by a 16-year-old girl in the car. It went through her alleged accomplice's hand and then through Zeitz's chest. It killed him.

The teen's alleged accomplice was named as 20-year-old Nathaniel Vivian. Having been himself shot, he went to hospital with the teen girl. He claimed to have been the victim of an unrelated shooting. At some point, however, he allegedly admitted to the events as the police describe.

Zeitz was known as "Phobos" in the gaming community. A friend posted a YouTube video in homage. His gaming teammates set up a GoFund Me page to help Zeitz's family with the funeral costs. It currently stands at almost $18,000.

Police say a gun was found in the alleged accomplices' car. Vivian and the teen girl (who has not been named) have been arrested. She is being charged as an adult. Sandy Springs Police Sgt. Ron Momon told the Journal-Constitution that the girl's 16-month-old child was in the back of the car during the shooting.
