Mariah Carey Slammed For Heavily Airbrushing Her Album Cover Image

44-year-old singer Mariah Carey has been slammed by fans and critics for heavily airbrushing the image she portrayed on the cover of her upcoming 14th album, titled "Me. I Am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse", after a stage performance at The Today Show.

The songstress donned a glittering black gown with a plunging neckline, a single long black glove, diamond jewelry and black high heels for the live performance. While the cover shot sees the star standing in a gold one-piece crocheted swimsuit, looking some 20 years younger both in the body and the face, while the first song off the album, titled Thirsty, also sees the star in a state of undress, with the same heavy-handed measures taken to ensure she's looking her best no matter how unrealistic.
