Photos: Lady Gaga Criticized By PETA For Wearing Jewelry On Her Dog

Lady Gaga has been criticized by animal welfare group, PETA, for dressing her pet in her jewelry. The singer posted various snaps of her dog, Asia, dressed in headpieces and earrings, Huffington Post
reports. The sad-eyed French bulldog was also pictured with a chainmail necklace draped over its face, with the caption "Little McQueen".

PETA released a statement regarding their disapproval of the photo, "Lady Gaga may choose to decorate herself with elaborate and even uncomfortable outfits, but Asia doesn't get to make that choice." A rep from the organization told Us Weekly that, "Although it seems pretty clear that Lady Gaga loves Asia, we think Asia -- and all dogs -- are adorable without all that added flair. The best accessory for any dog is a comfortable, secure, well-fitting harness, which is perfect for long walks together."

Gaga also found herself on PETA's radar back in 2010 when she got slammed for wearing her infamous meat dress to the MTV Video Music Awards. Two years later, the organization also called her out for wearing fur.
