Hennessy Artistry 2013 headliner, D’banj was conspicuously missing from the Lagos leg of the club tour which held on Saturday, September 21st at Rhapsody’s Lounge in Victoria Island, Lagos.
He was said to be stuck in the UK as at that night, as his flight was delayed and he couldn't make it for his scheduled performance alongside soul diva; "Seyi Shay" and rap duo "Show Dem Camp".
He could not immediately return from his trip due to delays with his flight.
The Durosoke Crooner "Olamide" however filled the spot and was reported to have delivered an outstanding performance alongside Seyi Shey and Show Dem Camp who made their first Hennessy Artistry performance.Dbanj returned to the country on Sunday, September 22nd and performed at the Miss Earth Beauty pageant.
Meanwhile, the video for this year’s Hennessy Artistry 2013 theme song titled “Raise Your Glasses” will be released any moment from now. The video was directed by fast rising producer, MattMaxx.
The Hennessy Artistry club tour continues this weekend at Crescendo’s Nightclub in Ikeja GRA and will feature exciting performances from Chidinma, Phyno, Vector and Sean Tizzle.
