Yinka Ayefele Almost Beaten By Thugs For Refusing To Sort Them From N3 Million Performance Fee

Popular gospel musician, Yinka Ayefele had quite a rough weekend in the hands of area boys in Akure for allegedly refusing to settle them after collecting 3 million naira performance fees to perform at the burial of  85-year-old Madam Ebunoluwa Lydia Odumakinde.

According to Vanguard reports, the thugs had sent a delegation to Ayefele's band leader to ask for their own share of the 3 million, but when they were later turned down, they went wild and disrupted the after party, breaking chairs, bottles and heads. The man in the eye of the storm, Ayefele had to be smuggled out of the party because the hoodlums were hell bent on extracting their own share of Ayefele's sweat, and woes betide him if he was going to go scot-free for daring to refuse to settle them for performing in their town. About fifteen people were injured at the end of the fracas.
