According to Nigerian Entertainment Today, EME first lady Niyola was involved in car accident on Saturday, 22nd of February 2014 around 7 pm while driving from Lekki, Lagos where she had just finished a meeting in a Honda CRV. She had just exited the third mainland bridge on her way to the mainland area of Lagos when the accident occurred at the Oworonshoki axis.
A vehicle which was trying to overtake Niyola’s car hit her CRV from behind which sent then sent her car tumbling three times before hitting a tree by the roadside. Niyola was immediately taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries while the Honda CRV was immediately towed away from the accident spot.
A rep of the singer’s has confirmed the accident and also confirmed that the singer wasn’t driving alone but with a friend. The other passenger is said to be doing fine as well. "Yes, it’s true. But she’s okay. It’s unbelievable that they survived", the rep said.
