The slow loris from Asia is one of the only poisonous mammals in the world. Slow lorises “possess a very rare trait for a mammal, a toxic bite,” according to BBC.
“Venomous organisms inflict poisonous wounds by actively biting, stinging or scratching their victims and injecting toxins into them.” These toxic bites are supposedly so painful and agonizing that they can create extreme allergic reactions.
