DB Records boss, D'Banj announced today that rather than choosing one winner which he originally planned, he has decided to pick three winners of his "The King Is Here" rap competition.
Recall that, D'Banj's "The King Is Here" rap competition began on the 1st of August and finally came to a close after an estimate of 8,000 entries were registered as the competition ran.
Last month, D'Banj short-listed 5 finalists in what he described as a very hectic challenge. The finalists were announced on social media and D'Banj then announced that he would let the people decide by opening votes on his Instagram page, where the finalists with the most likes will eventually be crowned winners.
Today, D'Banj finally announced that rather than choosing one winner which he originally planned, he has decided to pick three and the top 3 finalists @itseme_itse, @ola_dips and @officialbils will go home with a Lenovo A500 courtesy of Slot Nigeria, while the contestant with the most likes on D'Banj's Instagram page who turns out to be female rapper, @iteme_itse! wins $1000 dollars.
